尽管填空完成句子题来自教材中的练习题,但根据我校近几次模拟测试众多同学的答题效果来看,本题失分严重,与传统的改错题相比,整体水平相差很远。究其原因,我们认为主要有以下几个方面:

一是初见新题型。师生皆茫然。

尽管填空完成句子题来自教材中的练习题,但因往届高考从没有涉及到,老师和学生还是感到措手不及。以前,有的老师按往年高考题型授课备考,在自主整合教材内容时就舍去了这类练习题,没有要求同学们认真去做,突然面对这种新题型,老师也无所适从,感到压力很大。对于学生来说,课后的练习题做得少甚至于没做过,见到的题都是陌生的,心里恐慌,当然是无从下笔,更谈不上得高分了。

二是同学们对课文及课后练习重视不够。

这一点体现在广大同学的教材练习中。对于读后的练习题,许多同学在老师给过答案后还没有答案,而且有许多同学就是有答案也是有错误的。因此,我们在让同学们读记的时候,许多同学无事可做,有的同学就是看着练习题去读去记,可读的记的却有很多是有错误的,导致在测试答题期间大家自认为正确的答案也是错误的,最终失分惨重。

三是众多同学没有正视新题型,平常训练落实不够。

我们在对所操练的填空完成句子新题型的检查中发现了这一严重问题。有的同学自认为自己英语基础不是很好,在做新题型中绝太多数甚至于可能是全部都会做错,因此对新题型持放弃态度,导致在平常的操练中不够落实。一周前训练的句子,老师给出了标准答案,并一再声明,隔一周后再写,再完成,这样让大家熟能生巧。可就是同样的句子,隔了一周后让大家重做,大家却没感到亲切,仍然觉得无从下笔,填写出来的句子却对不了几个。由此可见,我们广大同学不仅要搞好课本复习,而且还要对老师所准备的训练题加以复习巩固。

四是基本功不够扎实,答题不够规范

在对填空完成句子新题型的训练检测中我们发现大家对知识的理解有时候仅仅处于一种一知半解之中。充分暴露出大家基本功不是很扎实,主要体现在语法错误(主谓不能一致、分词的使用不当、混淆时态、指代不清、助动词误用乱用),语用错误(各类固定搭配错误、冠词混用、动词名词混用、形容词副词混用),书写错误(错词、别词、多字母与少字母或者是多单词与少单词)。由于基本功不扎实导致大家答题不够规范,失分严重。当然还有非智力因素失分,比如部分同学的粗心导致所填答案与题号不对,就是作对了,填到答题卷上的答案也错误,失去了本应该得到的分数,还有的同学明知道单词的拼写,却写得潦草马虎,让阅卷老师猜不出他写的是哪个字母而失分。

针对以上问题,我们认为要彻底解决这一问题,力争高考时在新题型这一部分取得令人满意的分数,在复习备考过程中就要做到“疯练,增强语感,规范答题,誓得高分”。具体说来应该做到以下几个方面:

1、调整心态,正视新题型,疯练。

对于新题型,大家不用慌张。填空完成句子题本是大家非常熟悉的题型,只不过往届高考没有考而已,今年高考新题型的选题要来自于教材中的练习题。因此,夯实课本是关键。我们要在老师的指导下不遗余力地认真复习巩固教材上的练习题,一定要按照答案把每一个句子读得烂熟于胸。

疯狂英语大师李阳曾经说过“英语的好坏等于嘴巴动的次数。要想速成英语,就必须在最短的时间内嘴巴动最多的次数!”既然我们能用这种方法提高英语,当然这种方法也适用于我们在最短的时间内自如应对新题型。我们要把老师给我们精选的这类模拟题反复研究,疯练,把每一个答案搞得一清二楚,不留死角,不留问题,一遍一遍地做,隔三差五地复习巩固。

就我们学校而言,我们把精选题目的任务分配到人。高中三册书,按单元给老师划分任务,每个老师从指定的单元中精选50个句子,每10个句子组成一套模拟题。我们把各套模拟题反复地给同学们练习,第一次让大家自己做,然后自己找答案,最后老师给大家标准答案。隔几天后同样的题目限时让大家完成,看看同学们还存在什么问题,然后及时加以指正。隔几天后还是同样的句子让大家再操练,以便于复习巩固。当然在每次操练检查中。我们也会加进新的句子,每次的量在不断增加,大家熟悉了的内容次数可以相对减少,这种滚雪球式的疯练一定能让大家更多地回归教材,熟悉句子,同时还有利于大家对词汇题的复习巩固。另外,我们要疯狂地,大声地去读这些精选出来的句子,既增强语感,又可轻松应对新题型,当我们再一次碰上同样的句子就一定能顺利地写出来。这一点其实是很容易做到的,1o个句子就那么点内容,我们可以在很短的时间内读完。我们可以利用一些零星时间(如;早餐前后各五分钟,课间操五分钟,午休五分钟,晚饭前后各五分钟,读报后五分钟,睡觉前五分钟)来复习巩固一套题10个句子,只要我们利用好一天中的8个五分钟,一天就能读记至少40个句子,这样没有占用其他多少时间,而且读记句子的效率也会相对提高。我相信只要大家持之以恒,疯练,大家就能脱口而出所有的句子,也会让完成句子题真正成为大家所熟悉的题目。

2、分析句子结构,理解句子含义。

在做填空完成句子题时,要是连句子的意思都理解不了,所填内容必定对不了,急于求成直接填人所给单词肯定是行不通的。因此,分析题干的结构及其他语法现象,确切理解要完成的句子是很有必要的。在平常的教学备考中,我们就要十分重视句型结构的分析,特别是稍微复杂的句型结构,如:wilh的复合结构,独立主格结构,分词短语结构,复合句的各种类型,动名词的复合结构,各种固定搭配等。只有了解了各种语法结构,构建了相对完整的语法体系,才能得当分析句子结构,才能确切理解甸子含义,进一步增大我们在考试中做好填空完成句子题的胜算。

3、熟练掌握单词的词性词型与拼写,使用单词的适当形式完成甸子。
