myloveforpeopleisthebestpartaboutmyself.thereisnobetterfeelingthanthehappinessifindinmeetingnewpeopleandcreatingconnectionswiththem.myextrovertedpersonalityistherootofmuchofmysuccessinleadership,presentations,andnetworking.inaturallyreachouttopeople,andasaresult,iamabletoaccomplishprojectslikeestablishingamentoringprogramfortheFrenchHonorSocietyandathreefoldincreaseinmembershipfortheasianamericanClub.However,myoutgoingpersonalitymadethemostmemorableimpactatthe“Conversationwithmichelleobama,”aneventforwhichiwasnominatedtoattend.throughGoogleHangout,severalamericancitieswereabletoconnecttomichelleobamainSouthafrica.whentheKansasCitygroupwasaskedabouttechnologyintegrationineducation,thestudentsallfrozeunderneaththelimelight.inaburstofcourage,iblurtedacoupleofwordsandconsequentlyreceivedthemicrophonetocontinue.atthatmoment,itdidn’tmatterthattherewerethousandsofpeoplearoundtheworldincludingmichelleobamalistening;itwasjustmeandmystringofthoughts.iwastheonlypersoninKansasCitytospeakthatday.
