4、合理利用课外资料，重点题要重点练习、重点讲解，做到主次分明，讲求实效。
5、针对不同的教学内容采用不同的教学方法;。英文的内容较多，包括语音、词汇、语法、交际等等内容，如果对每一项内容都采用同样的方法来进行教育教学，那么即使是再好的学生也不可能学好，再好的教师也不可能教好。因而，针对不同的内容采用不同的教学方法是不可违背的。
总之，利用教材形式多样的写作练习，既能培养学生的想象力，又能提高学生的写作技巧。并及时总结语法和日常用语，巩固所学语言知识，同时注重学生学习兴趣的培养，以不同方式最大限度的激发学生的学习动机。使学生对语言功能的认识，由感情上升到理性。在培养学生听说读写语言技能的基础上，开展综合探究活动进一步拓展学生的语言知识，在教学的过程中让学生多看，多记，多总结，多背、多练说来丰厚英文知识，提高学生的语言技能。以达到巩固、掌握和运用的目的，最终形成语言技能。
